Radon Protection CPD

Guide to radon protection measures

Designers, architects, and specifiers are faced with ever-more challenging environments, particularly in preventing the ingress of radon gas into the internal structure of a building from ground-based sources.

Our latest CPD seminar discusses the current guidance document (BR211:2023) for designers, illustrating how this information provides guiding principles that are key influencers in achieving an appropriate internal environment, preventing the ingress of ground-based radon gas into a building.

Structural Waterproofing CPD

Guide to designing below ground waterproofing protection

Our newly updated Guide to designing below ground waterproofing protection CPD discusses the implications of the recently updated BS 8102:2022 guidance. In particular how designers and specifiers are faced with evermore challenging environments, especially the protection of below ground structures against water ingress.

This seminar discusses the current regulations and guidance documents available to the designer and how this information provides the guiding principles which are key influencers for achieving an appropriate internal environment for the below ground structure. The seminar reviews Type A, B and C waterproofing protection systems to BS 8102:2022

The seminar will be presented by one of Visqueen's Technical Support Managers, all of which are qualified as Certified Surveyor’s in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW).
